Pick a Time
You’re not the only one that graduated. Your entire graduating class is going to be having parties as well, so you want to be careful that your party doesn’t overlap with one of your friends. A good rule of thumb would be to have your party a few weeks after graduation or later. But don’t make it too late! If you’re a high school grad, most of your friends will begin heading off to college in August, and if you’re a college graduate, your peers are likely heading back home or off on their next adventure. Talk with those that you would like to be there and figure out a time that everyone is able to attend.
Choose a Theme
While a theme is certainly not necessary, it really helps to create a fun environment that everyone enjoys. We understand that it’s graduation, but you don’t have to have the theme related to school or your school colors. That’s boring. Think outside of the box!
