The thought process behind choosing a date can be as simple as looking at what the venue has open, but many couples like to be intentional about a special date. Numbers
Looking at how the numbers line up can give you a one of a kind wedding date. Here are a few good ones.

If you like palindrome dates where the date repeats itself forward and backward, here are some.

Holidays
Looking at holidays can be an advantage in multiple ways. You might already be planning to see your family and therefore you can play host this year. You also might get an extended weekend for wedding festivities or travel time for your guests. It also can be a good way to play off a theme and can be a guide for your colors and decor. It is not wise to choose it on a major holiday or too close to a major holiday because families have traditions and may not want to break them for a wedding, but looking at the time frame can help set the tone.
